I love : the glaze gives the impression that it is an old table out of an attic. The wood is dense and almost disturbing, but the light that illuminates the stream warms and enlivens the scene. This makes me think of the paintings representing the nature of the end of the Nineteenth century.

Hello Cath. It is true, and also found this style a little at some of the painters of the Eighteenth century. The effect of glaze is important to the appearance of aging to the canvas. The glazes were very used until the end of the Nineteenth, in fact. I think I have touched a little bit about what I wanted to express in this garden, English and a little Japanese with the water they needed. Thank you and good evening. Marc.
