Costume to Remiremont

Author 'Jcmai' (Id 200911 ) : Another photo of the costume, which allows you better understand the beauty of the costume and especially the size of the hat, it must stand even when a gust of wind is light (and there's the weight, even if one tries to limit the use of lightweight materials).

Gorgeous costume and color harmony.
The lack of time has prevented me to admire your superb costumes which I am very fond.

I hope to wear a costume as wonderful a day . You can dream... It is nearly Christmas.

Thank you Lena, why not, there's even a venetian carnival in Tallinn (you should find it on the net, or on FB). Ultimately it depends on if you know to sew by hand and machine, you can make the costume pretty, without spending too much (of course depending on the fabric, the accessories, etc.) but which swells the note this are the hours spent sewing or tinkering !

it is gorgeous, but what a courage it must take to bear this burden for hours : the passion should help !

Quite Catherine (finally, I speak for myself, but for others it should be the same. Like many photographers, I don't like to be photographed 'in civilian clothes'. By contrast, in costume... a lot Already with families, children, costumed, tourists from Japan, Australia, Brazil... Thank you for your passage !

Hello Jean Claude, indeed the hat of this beautiful lady, nicely decorated, is impressive by its size. The dress is superb. Ask, and for long moments I suppose must be quite exhausting. But it is necessary to suffer in order to be 'beautiful'.
Pretty cliché.

Hello Annick, this costume sometimes wears other costumes with headdresses and smaller... And then it's like everything in life, even if sometimes it is uncomfortable for the joy of the audience compensates for these inconveniences. Thanks for your opinion !

The close-up was very simplistic in terms of the importance of the rotator cuff of the magnificent 'disguise' very uncomfortable to read what you write further down, and this in the long term, I guess with a little practice... but above all, the motivation. This broad plan was essential and I think you did well to present them in this order for the suspense. Your caps house déméritent not, you agrémenterais one or two additional floors in the future that I would not be surprised

You know, Anne, at a given moment one arrives at a limit, to increase the height of the hat without any influence on the weight it is the addition of ostrich feathers, or peacock. After some have found a solution : instead of holding on the head, some make a harness to do the rest all on the shoulders. I also read an extreme case of a very beautiful and very cumbersome costume of a French (I've seen pictures, but as they are not of me, I will not be able to post) who fixed the whole in the back with the aid of a pole of the umbrella. Although younger (approximately 35 years), he would have returned to Venice with back problems !

Still a costume beautiful, but for nothing in the world I would not like to bear, or rather bear the weight of such a hat... Thank you for these images full of dreams.

Thank you France, it is necessary to suffer to be beautiful, or even it is the ransom of success. But it is a choice, some are merely caps for the more modest !

Thank you Nicole, you're right some of the hats are 2 or 3 kg (you'll have to tell me the crown of the queen of England should do the same but she does not keep throughout the day on the head). But what is annoying are the blows of the wind, or sometimes the distribution of the weight, I have a cap high enough with a 'crown' at the top, I have interest to attach and if I lean the head it makes a little lever. And yes we suffer for the pleasure of the public, sometimes it is too cold, other times too cool and then with the shoes on the cobblestones stroll morning, afternoon, evening, poses for the photographers, those for families with children, you return in the evening fourbu but happy !
