Cottage of Normandy House

Author 'Gélinotte' (Id 221280 ) : Veules-les-Roses, one of the most beautiful villages of Upper Normandy, a small seaside resort on the Alabaster coast south of Dieppe is bathed by the Veules, the smallest river in France : 1149 metres. Watercress is grown to its sources. The Spineless is spread out in several courses of water to run along the houses, where sometimes we hear it sing in the wheels of the mills, slipping under small bridges before flowing into the English Channel. A few pretty cottages contribute to the refinement norman.

A very beautiful composition, well as you know how to do it.
I love these cottages, and this photo makes me think of the small village of Kérhinet (regional natural Park of Brière) vehicles prohibited, flowered to perfection and in which all the houses shelter under a thatched roof.
I like it a lot, in all of your shots, your way of capturing the moment you mesmerized !

Phew ! I am 'tourneboulée' your comment is very flattering to me, goes right to the heart (I'm joking, but it make me very happy !) The photo preceeding it is just that, a cottage of Kerhinet !

Grouse since this is your nickname you have to have the eye so bright that the bird behind which you're hiding.
This picture is a pure marvel and has everything a table.
All this greenery, the stubble, the small 'river' and the roses it is perfect for the part.
Just probably not that good for rheumatism !

Thank you Gilbair (who must breathe the 'air' pure sometimes above the clouds if I have well understood ) It is nice to have taken the time to write this nice comment.
You wonder about my nickname ? It does not come from the bird with the keen eye, but the fabulous mare of the 50's, which won, among others, 2 times the price of america ; as at that time I was a child long, thin, and dynamic and that my family name was Gélineau... everyone has baptized me : grouse ! That is, you know everything

The sky equivocal does well diffuser and provides a softening of the shadows on this quaint cottage with the true roof of thatch at the edge of a friendly brook (hello arthritis). But is this really a place ? In Normandy it is said: 'longère' héhéhé . Teasing the Ghislain.

Very pretty thatched cottage in Normandy in an environment that is well lush En route to the contest Like the Fan I think it leans a little towards the back

As you say Mady : 'on the road for the competition' but 'the arrival' will be difficult, there are very nice pictures, but, it does not matter, the key is to participate, this is what I like Thank you very much for having put in your favorites and for your comment. You have the look as 'boring' as the one of Panda,... oh gee ! I thought that nobody would ever see... lost
> GAUDE J-M [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Oct 19, 2015

Hééé yes ! It is published in the contest of the month ; I found it in my archives of 2014 ! This village is to visit, it is really very beautiful. Thank you for your com. And for your bet in favorites.
> Almarie [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Oct 19, 2015
I know this village, and this is my favorite. In older times, this place was called the watering place where the beasts could drink. I agree with PANDA, I found that the picture of this cottage, has a slight tilt toward the rear. However, knowing the environment around, it is not easy to print with framing correct. Too many undesirable elements around, and not back to the angle of view.

I see Almarie you know well this pretty village, I just had the chance to visit one afternoon soon, but I still had time to enjoy it. It is very original, and well worth the detour. Thank you for your nice comment.

It is to change the region via the Normandie, which is also a nice place where you can also find some beautiful place such as that.
Well-surrounded by greenery, see the same green paint referring to it, it appears to be hidden, yet so beautiful and so well presented, thank you Grouse for this very beautiful shot
