For this beautiful sunset embellished by the crescent moon.
I do not think that we could see as far.

Thank you the maximum that I know of in the distance it is to see the Carlit (2921m) the highest point of the Pyrenees orientales since the bar des ecrins (4102m) the highest point of the Hautes Alpes is 440 km !!! The Canigou is very in front of the Pyrenees and near the sea is visible from very far away, especially because of its ISOlation in the evening it reflects the light of the setting sun like no other terrain.

Thank you for your nice comment, the colors are characteristic of the sky from the southern region-is famous for the painters, including Van Gogh.

This color gradient is the strength of this beautiful shot . A small regret : the moon located on the vertical axis.

Thank you for your comment, the Moon, where would you like it to be, and with what inclination because I can do it with the Gimp free software and excellent photo editing.

A little more to the right . But then it betrays what was its position relative to the Canigou. The shooting you would have been able to fit for it to be a little more to the right, but don't worry, it's very much like this .
