Crested lark

Author 'Francis-Sisco' (Id 215817 ) : A bit smaller than the skylark, the lark of the fields is more chunky and it has a shorter tail. Its plumage is less striped, and he wears a long hoopoe quite characteristic.

Crested lark lives in the wastelands. Little apprehensive, it flies only a few metres away when we approach. IT feeds mostly on the ground, digging up the earth from its long beak and capturing with vivacity beetles, grasshoppers, ants and caterpillars. Nice catch

This little bird is well-coquet almost unnoticed in its natural setting that blends well with its beautiful plumage, you have the eye
