I hope she has recovered poor little goose. A little dark but what snapshot following the advice of experts ... : 18:

A picture of the goose still dark, its position on the right would have been better.

Do not hesitate for your next test down to 400 ISO maximum. You will have a slower speed but with a focal length to 300, you can afford a speed of 1 / 400 without problem (for a stationary subject) and you will avoid the noise in the dark. You seem to have blocked your box on a negative adjustment, which further clouded the picture somewhat. We all tried to use the maximum length, it is often best to approach a little to reduce the focal length, and therefore be able to use an even slower speed and lower ISO (it's all good for you. L image). I hope I have not said too much nonsense, good luck and congratulations for framing: 3:.
