A good shot that wakes up our sad news and also our conscience, I hope. The dog was of great service in time of war, always faithful, him. I joined Nicole for her opinion. hdr ? Not necessary on this shot.

Thank You Dede,
In fact, our 4 legged friends are often called upon for the ' life dangerous '. As I stated to Nicole, in a register other than one of the battles, the missions of dogs SP are a little bit different, but with a share of risks (for the animal but also for his master).

It is thus also that 'Diesel', a belgian malinois has killed, slaughtered by these cowardly after the attacks of Paris during the assault in the Parisian region to Saint Denis, brave dog who, despite everything, has received accolades for his merit... Some will say but that is what it has to do with the dog I am not of their opinion, it did its job of good police dog, a researcher of explosives and other suspicious objects.
I find that one does not speak enough of our four-legged companions that like Diesel follow intensive training and make a beautiful career for our lives at their own risk and peril.
Your picture touches me, thank you Shark

Indeed Nicole, our 4-legged companions we render immense services. With regard to our friends 'recruited' by the rescue services to people, they are considered, in the same way as their masters cynotechniciens, as firefighters in full and have a serial number. Their multiple tasks may differ from those of their counterparts 'police' : detection of people buried (as a result of an earthquake, a gas explosion, mudslide, flood... , search for person reported missing by his relatives (in collaboration with the cynotechniciens of the police). Like on my picture, these pairings (human and animal), must be able to achieve it by all means closer to the victim (helicopter winching, rappelling, transportation by unit nautical or air to transfer in distant countries). The dogs 'fire' should, theoretically, not suffer the same fate as Diesel, which has beautifully fulfilled its mission.

for the look : this scene was worth a picture, but there I do not like the hdr, which seems to me not justified.
