: 1: These two crocus are beautiful by the subtle blend of colors: light purple, white and orange. The clarity and presentation are beautifully worked and make it delightful. This variety is similar to 'Crocus versicolor' ... It is common for a late snow can cover them: 18: - see the photo report Shuna I greet and thank -. The crocus is part of the family, Iridaceae, and snowdrops than the 'Amaryllidaceae'. Each has its virtues and its toxicities. These are two beautiful flowers herald spring. The most important is that the picture is successful and she contends. This is my case: bravo bracketing 94 and thank you. : 3:

These crocuses are neat, and they have a relationship with a flower of autumn: the crocus, which is much more toxic. However, as many flowers, crocus are toxic and can cause digestive problems if ingested!

Thank you Jean Claude, but there is no risk that I eat, for cons, I believe there is a part of the edible flower that has considerable value, its price is equivalent to caviar, it s 'acts of saffron, it is estimated that 150,000 flowers to produce one kilo.

Absolutely Pascal, but the saffron is harvested from a variety of autumn crocus, which does not exist in the wild but obtained by selection of human crocus sativus. I do not think it is toxic and is used sparingly, given its price. Another example of spices, which is also used by cons sparingly, but deadly in large quantity is ingested nutmeg (it seems that a whole nut enough)!

: 4: If I understand correctly, the protagonists of the "great food" have complicated life, so to speak: 19: along with the film would have been a shortcut ... Tragically, it allows me to consider another angle Trenet's song: "a nut, what it is inside of a walnut, what one sees ..." ; trucidage and grazing are the two mainstays of France ... : 19:

It is exactly that: "La grande bouffe" would become a short film with change of title "snack": 19:

These two-tone purple crocuses are superb. Not to be confused with snowdrops, which are white. Bravo and thank you for this nice photo of spring.

Josy, trade show below, the author likes to trick us into flour! About crocuses can also be white: 18 This is usually how they appear in the mountains just after the snow melts, some blue but not yellow, at least not to my knowledge. : 18:

We'll go on dyslexia but your handwriting-Mentalo gaps in botany leave me speechless: 11: Attached is a photo of snowdrops. These two specimens out of the ground at the same time, the early flowers, hence the confusion? That said, I suspect you of making provocative. : 4: Floral Park is next door to you, you can easily grow in this area you ... Here we are gratified with a very nice photo of crocus petal variegated shoulder support.

: 3: Thank you, Anne, very fit for your return: 19: King of the provocation, I claim loud and clear, this is the same quality (or rather a defect in this case) that you know me well readily on EIF MDR I've seen pictures of Crocus coming out of the snow, so I awarded him the nickname even if it is not the truth Botany: 13: miscreant, miscreant ... : 19: More.
