Dragon Figurine

Author 'Spiros' (Id 183516 ) (Original: Spiros) : The dragon symbolizes the power of the water drawn from the Seine. The black wall, deformed by the thrust of the dragon hides the entrance of the production plant non-potable water, constructed at 20 m depth beneath the site. Its schema is represented on the wall (top left). The factory of the 19th century (as illustrated to the right on the black wall) has been replaced by office buildings.
This sculpture, a work type of street art official, who shapes the small square where it is exposed. Editing of multiple photos allows, it seems to me, to show the complexity of the place.
Photos taken on the 2012. 08. 23 in Paris 13th. The photo of the 'bottom of the sea' has been taken the 2012. 07. 30, the idea of its use to 'edit' comes from Kaenafelix.

In fact, this sculpture is a typical case of street art
It is made to be installed in a place and is linked to the history of the place
I asked the webmaster to change the topic of classification.

On the advice of Judy, you have well used your background of the sea A good job that this setup is very well done and I'm going to shut up two small notes so minimal because, in any case, for me, this is perfect

'shut up two small notes' !!! I don't recognize you anymore. Your notes provide material for the discussions that you love so much and make me spend my availability.

The little dragon to the right, above, is 'minusculement' clipped against the frame.
And I was wondering what the text would be if you put it into more or completely to the left : but then, just a small question that I asked myself... Voili, voilà, voilou...

I see that this 'dragon' inspire photographers and in particular the FEIstes. Like Judy, I recognized the painted dragon to light by Odo.
Good mount that allows the different aspects of this sculpture.

I thank you for your comment and, especially, your reference to the photo of the Odo. It is thus that one discovers images and techniques that we did not suspect.
Not all the aspects, the most important, the dragon living with his bowels red and noisy, filled with fire and water pressure, lack. Photographers best inspire can be and will succeed better than me.

It is really nice that montage that gives an overview of the whole of this 'curiosity'... It seems to me that the member Odo had done with the light painting on this dragon.

I thank you for your idea and your time. The dragon is a sculpture that comes to life and gets angry.
Built of glass and steel, its body encloses a fountain which flows at certain hours of the fire and water. I have not been able to photograph red and noisy, it looks a bit like the image of Odo to which you make reference.

Here we are with a good overview of the place and the work. Curious, I just go poke around on the net, it does lack the photo at night, your editing is very well done, the background well-suited. I didn't know...

I have tried to show the fire and the water in the bowels of the dragon (see photo related to copyright) but I have not succeeded. Odo has realized a series (see the photo linked in the comment of Charly). You might try it your turn, to come out on the occasion of your fief on the 15th. Thus, the material for a new triptych. In any case it is a district in full evolution, linked to the gare d'austerlitz in the process of being renovated.

A case to follow... In writing my comment, I had more in mind the pictures of the Odo on the subject, but I will go there probably on the occasion.
