To add information, the lake is emptied Malsaucy every year! It is a body of water used for fish, and serves as a body of water grow-out. Every autumn it is well drained and all the mud and organic matter can mineralize, which keeps this aspect still own the site. There is also interest in relation to the fauna and flora for many plant and animal species on the site (in water and on land) are remarkable and historic interest (therefore protected at the regional or national). That's my contribution.

Forges Pond was drained to power the desludging (thousands of tons of silt have been removed) to enable its flora and fauna to survive.

: 13: Video, this magnificent lake Malsaucy seems even greater: I discovered: 18:. Every two years, it is emptied to keep in perfect condition because it is an important site to safeguard the flora and fauna. In addition, many associations are developing very varied activities. For the place, we see, lost in the mist, the Ballon d'Alsace. Beautiful Shadow: Anne bravo and thank you. : 3: I enclose, rappelling, a photo of the same lake taken from another angle and background Salbert. : 4:
