Author 'Pgarnier' (Id 86032 ) : A strange insect, which does not tell me much. Really stuck on a flower céanothe. I did not manage to photograph it better. Avis aux amateurs for identification. Thank you.

The picture is clear, well framed, maybe it would have been more interesting to put the plan on the flowers with the leaves in the background? The insect is a beetle that could be a cétonia aurata (golden cétoine) but does not see color very well, which should be bright green to copper?

I think it is a cétoine with its beautiful metallic. These insects are very present in the gardens at this time. Thank you for this beautiful picture. : 6:
