It is an evergreen tree called the cannon Ball (Couroupita guianensis). It is native to northern South America, tropical America and the southern Caribbean. It can reach 30 to 35 m of height and they give us a large spherical fruit and wood. The flowers are orange, scarlet or pink forming beautiful clusters, as shown in this photo. Nice catch

Thanks for the appreciation and comments. It is true that during a trip, I discovered and I am pleased with the outcome of the pictures, not easy when visiting to take pictures without being invaded by tourists who put themselves as a priority in the first plan. Beautiful experience of comparison, know how to adapt. With so little of other humans are happy.

The flowers are beautiful, they make me think a little of the pink, except the heart. Thank you for the present, I do not know anything.

Sal or sâla (Shorea robusta)
I searched for 'shorea robusta' on the Net and I found on Wikipedia that it is the 'sal' and that it is a tree that has very many uses. We often find this word in the crossword puzzle but I had no idea what it was.
Your photo is very sharp and interesting ; thanks for showing us this tree and its beautiful flowers.
