Author 'Nenfer13' (Id 69594 ) : The rocks of les Mees, who stand over 100m in height. We call them the 'Pénitents des Mées', because of their silhouette. Still a beautiful strangeness of nature.

As I saw them stand up in front of me a few years ago, memories intact.

The photo should be taken with a light at the end of the day, this place deserves to be known.

It is a little in the kind of statues Maoïs of Easter island.
It is really impressive what nature offers us.

These rocks are interesting to explore and it makes me a little think of the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia in Anatolia.

These 'Penitents of Mees' (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (04) - district of Digne-les-Bains) are the rocks of spectacular shapes, and they are beautifully presented : sharpness, framing, colours with fine, which enhances the whole. Beautiful photo : bravo Ferdinand, and thank you.
