Duck Teal Brazil or Duck Amazonette

Author 'Nicoledesplat' (Id 198432 ) : It is always a great happiness to evolve among the different species of ducks in total freedom, but that venture never very far from their point of water either side of the central alley of the park at the entrance to the Zoo of Beauval, Saint-Aignan/Expensive).
Thus, one can admire various varieties of these beautiful birds, some coming from far and wide like this cute 'Duck Teal Brazil' male, very colorful, also called 'Duck Amazonette'.

Thank you Nenfer but as I said to Charly, I had no possibility to do otherwise, too much jostling and a little place but I wanted to have a photo of this one because I found it really beautiful, thank you for your comment

One does not weary oneself to see the mix of colors of the teal ; a pity that we don't see more his eye.

It is beautiful this duck, same plumage as the mallard but with the red beak. I do not remember to have seen when I went to Beauval. Thank You, Nicole.

There were so many species available that I too would have liked to see the Mandarin, hooded merganser, white-headed Duck of America, the eurasian wigeon Chile etc... , they were there, I'm sure, but, or ... but I've photographed other equally beautiful that I'll post soon, I loved this corner, like all of my visits elsewhere, thank you Josy for your comment under this beautiful specimen that I thought was already on Eif

It is a beautiful duck well colored that you have taken there. Too bad we did not see in our region. Taking the dive is a little too high. It would have taken you down a little bit to be more to her height and less 'crush' the view.

You have surely right Charly to the view taken a little too high but when you know where is the location of these birds, you understand immediately why you can not take your ease, the driveway to the ducks happens to be the first of what is starting to be the zoo, a huge crowd, it is jostled as the aisle and to the back, because I'm back on my steps at the end of the day to see these birds and still many people, must also say that Beauval is really a WONDERFUL zoo, not surprising to have so many visitors, but also in the middle of August, thank you all who have given me this valuable criticism, I will take note of it for next time.
