Author 'Kim' A voir (Id 101117 ) : Here is a long-eared owl found in our regions. It is distinguished by its plumage, heavily spotted and streaked across his body. It has rounded wings and cross in the back. It belongs to the family of owls. (See my article on the forum on the raptors).

LOVE IT! This bird is really surprising and I am tired of seeing some pictures.
> Soizic44 >Reply Jan 08, 2010
+: Superb, the direct gaze of the bird which sets the goal. Magnificent plumage. A big catch.

-:A little more light would have been perfect ... but we do not choose these parameters there.

+: : 3: There is this beautiful owl with orange eyes.

-:It would have been better placed on the right.
> Valérie.masse [G] [P] [C] >Reply Nov 30, 2009
Certainly the look of fire can not remain indifferent in its contrast with the rest of the picture rather dull colored (gray / beige / dark green) and light chick ... But just as your tone is not on, I think, to put the beast in value (except for once a remarkable effect of camouflage!) By cons I think the neat appearance of the plumage does justice the beauty of designs on the feathers that create an optical effect of air ruffling lightweight (one is tempted to plunge his fingers in it!) which gives the impression that if we blew gently over the bird would fly in the air angelic like dandelion seeds in our children ...

You've really taken: 1: and it is very beautiful. This should not be easy to photograph an owl, especially if he is released.
> Rc [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009
Beautiful subject, beautiful shot, maybe I'd try the B & B. In all cases it is remarkable precision, and given the lighting, it could not be easier! Encore Bravo.

+: Making beautiful, beautiful animal, it is always difficult to capture a raptor.

-:Only flat, framing a little spoiling the composition. I framed to the left. That said, it's still a beautiful picture.
> Guylaine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009

I am always captivated by the beautiful eyes of the owl. Often we only see her picture and here we offer you the whole beast. It is a chance to stereotype any such bird ... Could you tell us where you have "found"?. Thank you for this beautiful shot: 3:

It is beautiful, but living on the edge of the forest of Sainte Baume and heard owls at night, I do not think there is much freedom in our days?
> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009

Many of you ask me, I took this photo Aywaille in what they call "the wooden owls. They tended nets above and around trees in a grove, they put an airlock entry and there has been full of owls. The idea is excellent because you can observe and photograph them in their natural habitat.
