Egyptian goose

Author 'Ghislain' (Id 129893 ) : Some argue that this is an Egyptian goose. This bird is in competition with our native geese. One wonders what she still made in our latitudes. Maybe she obtained a residence permit? Marcel will probably be able to explain: 18:

+: : 1: This bird is an Egyptian Goose. He was raised in Great Britain and the Netherlands. Its presence in Belgium and northern France is due to birds that have escaped. The picture is sharp can observe many details. Head and neck are yellowish. The stain around the eye is chocolate brown. The breast is yellowish with a brown stain underneath. We guess the birth of it in the photo. The feathers above the tail and tail are black. Then we look at tertiary red feathers. The secondary feathers are metallic green. I stop here the description, the bird is properly identified through the quality of the photo. Good luck and see you soon for more photos. Regards. Marcel

-:It's a bird quite easy to approach and who comes begging bread sometimes quite strongly.

+: You are entitled to the thanks of the community FEI your description: 18: "The ornithologist service" can be defined here: duck or goose? Unless Ouette means goose. Personally I tend to goose. It must be said that this bird appears to be a hybrid.

-:Cfr link. Jay Peacock. Genetic manipulation? Surprising!
