Fire in the near clape nabronne

Author 'Ondine' (Id 123150 ) : Thursday, July 29, 15 am, on the hills of Clape, between Narbonne and Narbonne-Plage, a criminal hand put the fire while a strong north wind blowing ... result in 36 hours, over 250 acres have burned and desolate landscape appears on the hills covered with pine forests and scrubland, and some houses have been hot! This photo is taken from us, the village was saved thanks to vines, which served as firebreaks. There are fire lanes and the undergrowth is cleared, but the wind spreading the fire at full speed. The continual ballet until the evening of 10 aircraft to fight against the fire and another 6 the next day and hard work of the firemen came to the end of that terrible fire in 36 hours, but today, despite a storm yesterday, it smokes again! This photo was taken half hours after the start of the fire so very early, it's already awesome. : 10:

People are irresponsible or stupid because the forest is our lungs or those who control these fires can only see their portfolios (when I was in Toulon military, our regiment has been lent a hand to firefighters for a fire on the Mount Faron, most of us have had white hair before the age, so since I do not want a thing that arsonists are punished!: 1:

5: Thou art Didier! In addition, there is no benefit to developers since Clape is a solid and secure unbuildable, this is really a stupid irresponsible, it's definitely him and his ilk deserve to be severely punished because in addition to the destruction of these valuable areas, there is always the risk of destroying human lives, and not talking about the fauna and flora! You lived this close, you know what you're talking! Thank you for your comment! : 10:: 9:

A beautiful picture that would not rather not see ... but you chose the moment to show us. I see that you do not live very far from home. We saw one yesterday between Salele Aude and Capestang and I also did some photos. Thank you to you for sharing with us.

: 10: Thanks for commenting on this photo evidence of a sad moment, too often repeated, I heard he would not fire a century for nature to return in the same state ... almost impossible task. The last fire that ravaged the hills when a good twenty years and everything had finally green again, but the trees were still small. So there was another nearest you, an area I know little, how sad! It is true that we are not very far from each other, even if we are in two different departments. Sincerely: 4:

+: Very good: 2: But we can say that you had a nice sweat. The thing is to avoid the area cramée. The "next time" I want to see the Canadair actions!

-:Please put Canadair aircraft (cf. attached model).

Nice picture ... It's like a story! Your digital camera has a super zoom 30 and it shows, otherwise you would not have approached so close. Bravo despite the drama ...

: 4: Thank you for your comment on this photo. I do not think the zoom was at the bottom, there were about 800 meters from the fire as the crow flies, but it is true that the optical zoom of 30 is very useful. 5:

A beautiful picture story perfectly successful, but it would be desirable to never see, because it is very sad to see our forests go up in smoke, and sometimes even houses, which is even more tragic.

Beautiful and painful image! It's so sad to see that some have to respect this beautiful nature, is zero. I do not see where is the pleasure of intentional destruction by fire, so beautiful landscapes: 10: A beautiful image! Ondine thank you for your passage on my gallery and your comment! 6:

: 5: Fifie Thanks for your passage on my gallery and also for putting that image in your favorites, you make me happy! For this fire, it's true we do not understand all precautions are taken, but how to fight against these criminals who put lives in danger (fire, people, animals ...), it is very sad: 10:: 9:

That day, I was Espondeilhan, near Beziers, more than 50km from the fire we saw the huge smoke. It is a crime! I know the massive Clape and rare flowers. How long will it take now to find the botanical richness of this beautiful mountain ... There was no "dead man" is a great chance!

: 4: Thanks for your comment, I would not have thought that the fire was seen from as far away! Yes fauna and flora are destroyed in part each time it was ever the same place but we saw only smoke at home, the fire had not gone up hills but had extended distance, and earlier each year saw the fire, north, south, supervision of volunteers has probably reduced the indiscretions but not criminal hands ... : 10:

: 4: Thanks Didier, I see that you lived near fire, every time I see it, I always remember those who face these fires and hope that none of these brave men is achieved, must be maddening to see the furnace and helped by the wind, fear of being identified, it takes courage to fix what are criminals! Thank you also for putting this picture on your favorites and recommended me, it affects me! Sincerely: 5:.

: 10: Thanks for your comment on my photo, the sky went through all the colors, pastels (pink, yellow) to dark (gray, black), the water released from aircraft (which control!) Changed in hue and the largest aircraft swung a dark red liquid. And the evening a beautiful sunset fired the western sky! : 9:

: 9: Thank you for your comment. We're lucky to be at the top of the village and it is not located in the direction of prevailing winds, there was too much risk for us. The fire would have gone behind the hills, where there are no houses, if the wind had changed direction slightly for a while, it's the only time the smoke was a bit directed toward the village, if she was going toward the sea As we sleep with windows open, they might have heard the fire if the fire spread ... : 10:

This picture makes me sick because I know how much damage is severe in a row. I remember the terrible fire which took place August 22, 2005 at home in the P. O (on the common and Rodès Bouleternère) that had destroyed 1900 hectares ... ! Seeing my mountains I had this burning feeling of helplessness and a huge pain shook my heart. My tears were of no help ... Shame on those who make this stupid move and horrible ... and Bravo to firefighters who are fighting hard to save our earth.

: 9: Thank you for your comment, Domi, when we see the deployment of firefighters and resources to fight these large fires, is amazing and they risk their lives, the fire is so unexpected in these pine forests that burn very quickly! At the latest, 280 acres went up in smoke. It is disappointing to see that! 8:

: 9: What desolation, again devastating fires on massive Clape. We have lived many years in Narbonne, and often the firefighters had to intervene to counter the "stupidity" for men. A photograph beautiful and sad. Gavot 53

: 9: Thank you for your comment, it is very sad indeed! There were fewer fires in recent years because of voluntary patrol all summer, but it happens anyway, and always, of course, when there is windy! If you were in Narbonne in the 90s, there were large fires qq precisely our hills were green again and I thought there ten days that the stigma of that time had virtually disappeared! 8:
