Author 'Clericus' (Id 127288 ) : In that year, for sure we will remember ... Torrents of rain. For three months, everything is wet, the plains are flooded, bridges cut mud walls collapsed, nothing dries. And then nothing the rest of the year. Not a single drop of water. Dry, cracked earth who suffers ... It's not fair, really.

: 1: Very good! A slice of life difficult. Canoes would be useful! If there is a dam somewhere survival is assured for some time ... ! However they will they benefit?

You're right, it is better to learn to fish than giving fish. Our "experts" have forgotten this truth. The so-called rich countries have flooded African perverse subsidies and grants, not always for good reasons. So much so that Africa was rich with all these RAW "gifts". After an unnecessary and costly experience of 50 years reveals that the assistance did not allow a country to emerge from underdevelopment, nor, of course, to prove the actual value on the field, very Many rich and UN agencies. Child support for certain countries, development assistance was an inevitable failure. Spending other people's money, Africa left only little value, having made no effort (other than diplomatic) to get it. To conclude: Aid still degrades the receiver and one who distributes values. The hand that gives it is not always above the one who receives.

Stage of life I like the presence of the cyclist in the foreground: report and resignation in the face of climate disasters "natural" ... The whole summarizes the strength of the people he is making to survive without any ounce of aggression or anger at the inequalities that run this world ... I love the image processing and saturation forced.

: 3: This photo is very beautiful, colorful, beautiful reflections, great finesse, and yet it shows a period of rain, though necessary, can do much damage. You exercise a beautiful job and you must help these people, who live in a country where life is hard, to make the most of what nature gave them ... : 4:

That life must be tough in these conditions ... from one extreme to another. An interesting document and a very nice picture. What is worse for people, drought or floods?
