Amaranth (amaranthus caudatus) is an ornamental plant, native to South America, cultivated for its red flowers grouped in long clusters. There are various species of amaranths and some of which are used in the bouquets dry. It is used in cooking as a cereal. The flour of amaranth is used to prepare biscuits, pancakes or waffles. Its flavor is slightly spicy. Beautiful decorative plant in a massive, beautiful shot.

This is a beautiful candelabra that I believe to be a amarante queue-de-renard, but without certainty.
