I think a tighter framing the flower of the center would be better. : 4:

These 'Chardons Blue' (Eryngium tripartitum) are well developed on color and shape. A provision of light would have been welcome and perhaps another frame. Thank you. : 4:

It is simply a blue thistle, the photo lacks a little clarity I find, but I am not a specialist.

This elegant albeit pungent, the blue thistle (Eryngium tripartitum), is an erect perennial that bears cones of small flowers metallic blue in summer and autumn. These cones are placed on a crown of bracts pointed, at the top of slender stems, bluish, overlooking the foliage in rosettes of green-grey. Picked in bud, the flowers dry well. Beautiful shot

I quite like this shot. The light is lacking, but it was the end of the day, hence the atmosphere is a little dark.

The brightness is in default on this image and a crop from the right would be nice.

Very beautiful thistles in blue, and your composition is as it should be, a little more light, and the turn is played.

Thistles blue, Lawrence, an addition of brightness would not be superfluous, one net, the other being there than to put it discretely in value, I would have seen a black background, it is pretty.

A lack of light and contrast make this photo not legible.
The format choice surprised a bit !
I think you could cut 25% right, which would put the thistle main strong point the top right.
