I have never seen a field like this with iris ! I first thought of the lavender. But the blue of this iris is more clear of course. It is just as beautiful.

For all those who have moved here, though, there was the sun, but it was in the evening. A small portion was in the shade as I cut. Thank you to all.

Ephemeral, it would have been a shame to miss the opportunity to keep them in the photo, this is rare, an audience with as much iris ; I would be curious to know what this farmer with a field of iris, the fragrance (if they are scented), confectionery (it exists for other flowers such as the violet, the rose etc... , then why not ), I saw that you had posted another photo, I'm going to push my research, this field competes with the rows of lavender .
