Author 'Gilbair' (Id 221390 ) : After a whole day of fog, freezing winter, most of the trees in the environs of Geneva are covered with a coat of white crystalline. The fir needles seem to support very specific to the ice crystals.
Camera Pentax K5 with zoom 18-200mm, 1/160 sec, F 5. 6, focal length 80 mm, ISO 400, flash, photo cropped and contrast slightly increased.

But where is therefore passed the fall ? Here it is already winter for you ! The ice crystals on pine needles are a very beautiful effect, and the branch is nicely presented in the diagonal.

The image alone is misleading. It was missing the date that changes something : it was in December 2013, and not the fall of the current. But if the image you drew the eye, that was my purpose, and that makes ME happy. So thank you...

Good idea. The green branch is reminiscent of peppermint candies . The light is beautiful and the background is much diluted, and .
