Fourviere Hill

Author 'Nout' A voir (Id 136617 ) : Lyon - Fourvière with its basilica. This hill is also called "the hill of those who pray" in opposition to the Croix Rousse hill from where this photo was taken and called "the hill of those working" because it is the hill " silk workers "- workers of silk weaving in Lyons. For those interested see on the Internet: the revolt of the silk industry.

We present you a nice view of the city. I have friends in the suburbs ... they say it is often polluted. : 4:: 6:

It is the city where I was born and where I lived for over twenty years. Of course it is polluted as all cities, no more, no less, but sometimes the mist mingles with pollution so of course it is not the purest air in France, but we must not exaggerate. : 5:: 6:

: 5: Renee Jolie photo fine, it's a viewpoint that shows unusual N D Fourviere another angle, the branches fine and powdery snow on the roofs add to the beauty of your photo, bravo! : 6:

Lyon under the snow, at least one party. Renee thank you for sharing with us. The sky is white but that is normal, a small clearing in the distance?

Elly hello, Thanks for your comment. I also love this photo for all the memories attached to it. Of the mini Eiffel Tower (which is not all that small) were drawn fireworks on July 14 and we had a front row seat!
