Author 'Gipsy34' (Id 197547 ) : St Lizier has two cathedrals. Here the cathedral of St Lizier, which is located in the city. It is a gothic cathedral roman. It dates back to the 11th, the 14th and 15th century. It has a beautiful romanesque cloister. The sanctuary is composed of a nave with 3 bays of which the central nave has a deviation of the axis slightly visible on the photo. The cloister of the 12th century is the only one still standing in the department of Ariège. The first floor of the cloister was elevated to the 16th century. The bell tower, octagonal tower in the manner of the spires of toulouse, dating from the 12th century and was finished in the 14th century.
