GUI 01 European Mistletoe

Author 'Lumixane' (Id 23961 ) : IN THE GUI, THE YEAR NEW! I have done a small deduction on a ball to wish you all and all a great year 2007. Mistletoe, a persistent leaf, lives in parasite on the branches of some trees, viscous and white berries are toxic. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I love this picture, its simplicity, balance, accuracy, transparency and brightness of the grains of mistletoe as if the sun crossed ... they look like beads of pearl. Wonderful!

This photo is gorgeous ... The beads are like pearls, from our jewelry.

2008 will be the 250th anniversary of the arrival in France of the comte de Saint-Germain. He stayed 22 months : where did he come from ? and where was he going ? It's still unclear but we are still talking about it...

This photo is unique on the web because you have managed to capture the luminous nature of the gui. Congratulations ! You maintain and spread the tradition. Your photo represents the idea I have of the mistletoe : a plant of light, who is the emissary of the Soul of the World...
I allow myself a small note : the gui is not a plant parasite but a semi-parasite. In fact, it pumps the sap of the tree which serves as its support, but it produces its own photosynthesis. That is to say that he cares only about capturing the light, leaving the other to nourish it : this is the symbolic meaning of the gui that your photo perfectly expresses.
Thank you for your talent.
I wish you a happy new year 2008 !

Hello Lumixane, your photo is very pretty and thank you for your good wishes for 2007 and I wish.
> Marcel >Reply Dec 31, 2006
Well this is a good news image ! A light that does not seem to correspond to the time of your EXIFs ! The balls of mistletoe are difficult to expose because of their semi-transparency.
