My mouse is frozen, looking at this unusual landscape. The choice of depth and angle of view has resulted in a composition that transports us directly to the inside of the composition.

I have never seen this before ! Very impressive, it looks like quilts of ice. A rare photo I think, however, I am from the East ! Awesome with this lighthouse, which is not common in most. A big congratulations to you !!!

It's amazing this ice, it looks like waves frozen in one shot ! I've never seen it.
Bravo for this photo of a rarity striking.

A good framing, a beautiful light and it is also very impressive. A big congratulations to René.

Very, very impressive this thickness of ice I do not know how many cm it is, but it looks beefy !!! The crevice of the first plan is not reassuring The lighthouse seems to be quite incongruous in such a scenery... for this shot rare.

Thank you Isa for your passage to the north pole Switzerland
For the thickness, I estimated between 20 and 30 cm at the height of the thickness...

Hello Judith... YES, I was almost flat tummy... position strange, really strange, but when you want to... you can
To Yvoire, I don't know, but it must be amazing because the edge of the lake to Yvoire is full of north, the bise has had to create beautiful sculptures of ice...
PS Thanks for all your coms that I always take pleasure to read... as all of the coms of the community..

The layer of ice is impressive and you've managed to highlight it with the lighthouse under a blue sky gray. Bravo René2 and thank you.

Thank you Guylaine for your com... I'm in competition with the Canadians with my photos ice-cream... But for us, this episode won't last very long, the thaw announced should do away with these sculptures of ice quickly...
