Ghosts in the Elysian fields

Author 'Spiros' (Id 186067 ) : During the occupation of Paris, every day at 13h, a parade of the Wehrmacht, the German army, took place on the champs Elysées. Thousands of soldiers participated in the parade, frozen, crippled, or dead by the following on various fronts, reminiscing of these moments of ephemeral glory. Their ghosts are still haunting the prestigious avenue.

I had missed this photo unusual. I love the feet such as you showed them, because they echo the idea of 'lame' referred to in the commentary.

The thumbnail makes you want to open, a few comments. You have brilliantly set in scene your scenario, the feet of the soldiers are a little weird, I would have seen the boots although it is only of ghosts A realization of the original, and bravo for the audacity.

Feet bizarre are an erase error, I have deleted more than it should on the picture of the film. I have prepared another montage but I finally kept it in the dressing of ironic commentary on the plight of the German soldiers.
Where is the boldness ? On deformed feet ? Or on the soldiers walking down the champs Elysées ? I refer you to my response to Louise.

I don't know what to say, but your photo does not leave me indifferent.

I thank you for your passage. The images of German soldiers are captured for the documentary series Apocalypse, made exclusively from films of the era. I've used it for photo-related. It is now available in dvd.
I'm not the first to use old photos, here's an address with ghosts caring.

Thank you Spiros for the link, it is a discrete way to bring to the fore images of the past.
