I am curious to know how old is this wonderful ginkgo. I want to plant one in front of me but I fear it is too big.

I found some clues about the age of this beautiful ginkgo. This garden was established in 1852 on the old parish cemetery. It is said that he was reduced to Dinan by the explorer and diplomat Auguste Pavie (1847-1925), a native of this city. So I think it's centennial and beyond. A Ginkgo may indeed live up to 1500 years, and nearly 40 meters high! should be when the place to plant a! But do you pleasure Johanne.

The colors of the ginkgo Biloba are really beautiful. For complete information Géna, what is not said enough, is that it is the only plant that survived the Hiroshima bomb ! This is why it is very valuable in medicine.

Ginkgo biloba, the oldest tree of the planet. Its origins date back to 270 million years ago. The medicine is used long enough for its virtues of various.
Its leaves look like hearts and fall, it has this peculiarity to take very nice shades of golden yellow.
Thank you for this beautiful wallpaper of 'the tree of a thousand coins'.

In seeing the bulky foliage and gold 'Ginkgo' (Ginkgo biloba), one can well understand why it is also called 'maidenhair Tree' or 'Tree of a thousand ecus'. Bright wallpaper that suggests some corners of blue sky. Beautiful : bravo and thank you.
