Gladiolus Callianthus

Author 'Nicoledesplat' (Id 186056 ) : The 'Gladiolus Callianthus', an ancestor of the gladioli current is remarkable in its great elegance and its port soft ; I've seen this fall at the show of flowers, beautiful scape about 8 to 10 white flowers stellate whose heart is of purple color.
But what I remember most is his wonderful smell.

Last year I made two big pots (in height), I put a bunch of bulbs (taking care to drain well - add beads to the bottom of the pot and if necessary to drill the pot) they have good data and especially balmy, what a great smell (the smell of suntan lotion) , I just got out the pots, they are on one of my terraces, I had cut the stems that had continued to grow in the basement this winter, even being mulched, they have not had the time to go the top because of course they are faded along the way, I'm really excited that all this beautiful world bloom again because all the flowers are beautiful, so far the smell is really very nice especially when they are in a number, not hesitate to fill out the pot, I wish you a great success with these stunning gladioli, a little flat, all the same, these flowers tend to lean a little too the head, the more they will be numerous better it will be, thank you for your com.

These flowers-Mady are quite high but beautiful, too bad they have the head down because their pretty hearts and starry dark are beautiful but, more importantly, what scent, great, thank you for your comment left on this picture

As for the men, the origins are small and from one generation to the other, they become larger and larger. They are so thin and beautiful !
