Graceful swallow of Portugal

Author 'Perronnet Catherine' (Id 209036 ) : I was so happy to see swallows in Portugal, while they have virtually disappeared from my home, that I'll post in the hope that Francis will be able to clarify me what species it is exactly.

Cathy, this is one of my bird fetishes, and it is with it that I just have to thank you for your comment super nice on my photo...
The swallow is beset with the climatology cahotante and yet if you knew as they are interesting to study !
What a silhouette with its long slender tail ! Thank you...

I also am particularly attracted to the swallows, as they have almost completely disappeared from my region Thank you for your visit and see you soon.

Thank You Nanou. I have to say that I was so happy to see this pretty swallow, that I took the photo knowing that it would not be a masterpiece.

The angle is not most favorable, but this is a new in my collection, in the south of France this is not the species that you meet and in the city of Marseille, one can see that in an irregular way Thank you for sharing.

And yes I've taken it as I could before it flies away ! Thanks for your visit.

The preoccupation with the swallows, is that one must often take a low angle and that they arise almost always on the large unsightly wires . That said, you've put in the box (AB+).

I know perfectly well that my photo is not a success in the genre, but I mostly wanted that Francis pointed out to me what species it was-and I succeeded ! Thanks for having nevertheless left a comment.

It is long. We're almost the same, but smaller, but the same head, the same color. This may be the young people we see.

Then, I could not tell you. I think it was adult because it nourishes the young in their nest.

This swallow is elegant with its streamlined body. I also think that it is a barn swallow. Thanks for sharing Cathy.

With his throat redhead and his long tail, I have proposed the classification in barn swallow.
Thank you for sharing this ; If you're near farms, then you should observe.

Thanks to Butterfly, I know that it is a barn swallow that many encounters in the French countryside and in the country around.

I enjoy to see these beautiful travelers. I don't see that when I go on holiday in the south of France.

There were swallows and swifts that have nested under the roof of the houses of my town once, but they have disappeared for more than 20 years.
