Grande Maree 01 Ocean

Author 'Claudia' (Id 185991 ) : It is a day of high tide in October. The waves go up to the attack of the rocks, along the wild coast on the commune of le Croisic (Loire-Atlantique).

Very beautiful composition of this great tide ; the waves rising to the assault of the rocks and this beautiful foam that results.

Thanks for the comment nice ! It is the nature that it should be compliment, not me ! There has to be there at the right time...

I recognize there this coast even more beautiful with the waves splashing on the rocks It may lack a bit of contrast but this is the time that wants to do this

Thank you for your comment. Yes, the sky was 'armored' as it is often the case during high tides.

A nice picture of a corner that I know well. Whether it is raining or it's windy, the sea is flat or unleashed, Le Croisic offers us always beautiful vistas. Your image is well composed and nicely framed. To quibble, I would have just cut off a little to the left to 'remove' the house 'off'. Nothing bad

Thank you very much ! I am a fan of le Croisic. Yes, you're right to your point.

This landscape croisicais is superbly framed with the houses at the end of the rocky point. The waves and colors reflect well the atmosphere and the moment of time. Bravo Claudia and thank you.

Great framing for this shot... Just a slight lack of contrast...

The lack of contrast is due I guess to lack of brightness, grey weather, grey sky and sea. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you Catherine for this comment (and all the others that you do so frequently and to which I do not answer often, mea culpa). I like the atmosphere of these days tide to fall, it is magical and a little mysterious.

Attention, it is in the Loire-Atlantique, not Brittany .
Your photo makes a nice wallpaper .

Thank you for your comment. Yes, you're right (moreover, I put 'Loire-Atlantique in the caption of the photo), Le Croisic is in the department 44 and in the region 'pays de Loire'. But before the year 40 (the separation was done under the regime of Pétain) the department of Loire-Atlantique was breton. And its current inhabitants claim the tie-in to the Britain in which they feel loved by the culture, festivals, gastronomy. The breton is spoken and taught again.

Hello, bisontine, I am a me too. I am born in Besançon. Your photo is superb, I like the framing and the soft tones - by the time breton. You wouldn't have in stock, even at low tide ?

Thank you very much for the comment very nice ! I will try to look in my archives if I can find a view in calm weather and at low tide.

Very nice photo. The sea is angry. There must be a lot of wind for the people of this area. Bravo and thank you.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, it décoiffait ! The wind blew three days running around 70, 80 km/hour. And the night framing of the house made a bad noise, as in the breton legends.

Still a beautiful photo of Brittany with the angry sea, which flows to the onslaught of the rocks. I love the color of the sea in these moments. Thank you for this beautiful photo, Claudia.

Thank you very much for your comment nice (and in general for your many comments). Yes, the sea is the color of mercury, it is very beautiful, it changes from blue.
