Great morgon opus2 Old photo

Author 'Chasseur de temps' A voir (Id 110005 ) : Grand Morgon "You still dominates the dam of Serre Ponçon, but there are some thirty years, who agreed to make the effort to visit you could still see scenes like this in the morning at a time when marmots are warming to the first rays of the rising sun. Who knows? Maybe even today ... a CO in turn could save one of those moments shared by a shepherd, his dogs and his flock. I would so like to believe it!

Photo superb who will be, alas, a scene of exception, and if we continue our ways of life tell modern.

Your last post makes me come back to this photo. I really like it. He rules like a transparent veil and black on the outside that lights up the strong point: the shepherd and his flock! Funny, I did not notice the herd has a heart shape: 18:! The shades of green are admirably managed, I would say that this picture is a canvas.

It happens me also come back from time to time on the photos that I particularly like. This is one. Why? Originally this photo is a color slide, so the 24x36 format, which has never given a panoramic slide when projected on a screen! At the time, to achieve this effect in the film, I chose to hide a cache is in the foil portion of the image that I had to disappear for a panoramic view. The scanned image presented here, contrary to what some have thought, has not been cropped with a particular software! You know the formula: it is "rough around the edges": 18:

Thank you to you to Thee belated testimony to this picture of a time when you were still a girl and was thinking maybe one day to taste everyday of an African village. Place it in your favorites the moment a lot of forgetting where she had fallen and it can take a little air. I thank you most sincerely and returns this not put me in your gallery that deserves better than a quick glance.

I guess: The vacuum enclosure is awaiting the night with his sheep. For me, the day is gone. The evening brings the silence and the herd. The chariot of the night comes ... I'm here, sitting near the cabin. Soon I could see the dark eyes of the moon. Your picture makes me dream.

It is difficult to get in the circus but that's great.

Very original, regarding the subject very well treated, and more beautiful light and framing balanced. Super photo.

Candy I do not know if the years have been right but that little sheepfold regarding access to the circus Grand Morgon, I think that there is no more difficult than they once did Photo of 600 m in vertical drop from the valley (but for the return, it goes down all the time!). : 18:

> Candy [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 09, 2010
: 4: Hello, this is a beautiful picture and I envy the shepherd because I'd like to go that little sheepfold quiet with just the sheep! : 18:: 19:

+: A photo realistic yet, what I feel is like something surreal: 1:: 3:: 6:

-:A photo that has an air of vastness, so I would have appreciated more if it had been larger and less tightly cropped.

Magnificent and eternal time suspended as everything is calm and everything could change too.

One mistake Chrisostome but it does not matter. It is 7:00, 7:30 or less. I left the valley the day was barely up and it takes a good two hours walking to get to the circus Grand Morgon (alt. 2000m). I tell you this if you would be tempted by the experience! Read your com, you should love.

July or August? It was 9:30 or 10 am and the dew has disappeared. I can hear the bells and I feel strong odors of the troops who will be quietly led to a pasture farther. Very good position for dominating the scene, watch this variable geometry illustrated by Woollmark wool (?) and working dogs guided by short whistles or shouts of the shepherd. A beautiful image that we would indeed be reproduced with a modern APN. Bravo hunter time for this moment emotion.

Frane Yes, I share this approach to measure how the slightest bit of time deserves to be lived as it may over time grow rich wealth of scents and unexpected at first. "Carpe Diem" (Horace ): Seize the present day, trusting in you the least possible overnight.

Very nice picture of the past. We love to walk, eyes half closed, between a past that was known long ago, and this too rare nowadays.

As I understand Eden: I loved this area. Three consecutive years we have spent our summer vacation, discovered the course Hiking in the mountains, the first edition of Triathlon Embrum, birth rafting on the Durance, but also the lives of locals. A daily so different from ours and yet so close since the end of the rural mountain and the work of steel at the time demanded much the same burst of energy!

Lumixane Yes, that's exactly the image of the heart that has emerged in my eyes when the sheep leave the pen where they had spent the night. The operation was quite extensive. I waited. I made a picture that scene.

Raymond Depardon! You could have more bad references. Too happy to have succeeded with a photo so old, to bring you this photo of the monument. As for my humble person, the only thing I can claim to share with him is being born in 1942 . It's thin, no?

What a beautiful picture! One regret of not receiving a more generous size. Bravo: 1:: 6:.

Hunter Cuckoo Time ... : 18:: 18: I am 100% with you. I grew up in Valley Ubaye and I attended the dam of Serre-Ponçon: 17:: 17: Then the sheep transhumance and the altitude pastures, love. : 6:

You can ask us not to count them. They are ... numerous and form a heart. The image is of great finesse. I dwell on with pleasure.

The light provided by white herd brings nice touch to this well presented image in panoramic. : 6:

A true picture, decidedly exceptional. I appreciate very much. Thank you.
