Great olive bimillenary

Author 'Henri H' (Id 141685 ) : It is a venerable tree. There are very few in France. Maritime Alps can boast of having two. A venerable tree has at least a thousand years. The olive tree is around 1900 years. All the trunks form a group with a circumference of 23, 50 yards. He is still capable of producing small black olives say 'Pichouline'. (Which by the way are a real treat). This specimen was rescued in the early 1910s and is found on the town of Roquebrune-Cap Martin.

Kaenafelix cuckoo. Thank you very much for your appreciation and for having put it in your favorites. Personally, I wanted to highlight the compelling majesty that emanated from this tree oh so beautiful. But the limited space, lack of recoil and the containment of the place does not allow me to achieve this result. Maybe next time.

The hello cry, but you do not really true. Indeed, the ramification of the branches allows the tree canopy in a span of some 18 meters. So good estimate. Thank you for your passage and your comment.

+: That one I do not know! : 2: The other is that of Bau de la Gaude, right? Oh no, I confuse with an oak! Here, suddenly, I know! : 14:: 18:

-:Another format, stp, to see a little more! : 20:

Hello Ainsiminilyse. I'll see if I can find a picture from another angle (but the road is narrow and the reduction reduced to a minimum). Another venerable tree is an olive tree but it is private property in the town of Beausoleil. There are still carob but who are 'just' remarkable (less than 1000 years old) but unfortunately also on private property. And of course in Vence, an ash of 400 years, Gorbio a 300 year old elm and oak well (between 400 and 500 years) of Bau La Gaude I hope to introduce soon FEI (unless you photos, so I'll let you submit). Thank you anyway for your passage and your nice comment.

You seem an expert es-trees: it's great! : 4: Yes I have pictures of oak, so, of Bau La Gaude but you can post yours because we are three friends doing the round around! Fun for all ages! : 20: If I post, I am no longer credible FEI! : 18:

Hello Ainsiminilyse. Not really expert: 7: but very interested in what nature can offer exceptional. I reassure you I too am not credible in many of my attitudes. But that's another debate.
