Author 'Kepler974' (Id 201964 ) : It is looking at a series of a sunset, that this small radius discreet green, appeared. Always with a sony a230 in afocal behind a tube Kepler 120/600, 1/200 at iso 200. All landed on the roof of my car.

I didn't know, but it is impressive. It appears that under certain latitudes ? Nice shot of the sky at sunset.

Hi Jean-Luc, the radius 'green' can have many different appearances, it's under atmospheric conditions. It may be vertical, or very shy, or a huge flash, like the one I missed the other night.

It reminds me of a Rohmer movie with the heroine who was waiting for this famous green ray on a beach. I thought it was a real vertical radius that appeared when the sun disappeared. Your photo gives me finally the explanation. Thank you.
