Grosbec casse nuclei at the feeder

Author 'WebMaster FEI' A voir (Id 188164 ) : A grosbec casse-nuclei had already happened to sneak up to the manger and was no longer appeared since.
But as soon as the first snow made its appearance, he reappeared.
As for all the sparrows to our garden, the snow is a synonym for shortage as it covers the soil and deprives the birds of their food potential.
He remained a long time which has enabled me to achieve a lot of pictures.
I propose to you that which pleases me a lot because it allows you to appreciate its appendix of the nose that earned him his name.

Is it necessary for it to be hungry to come like this in your feeder and it stays there long enough. However, it is deemed to be fearful.
I have seen only 2 for me since I'm on FEI and not close enough to shoot the portrait. A little close to the edge perhaps, but it allows you to see that it was snowing and that it is without doubt the reason for his visit.

Nice catch of the face to discover (for me) this appendix of this beak large, impressive, with the look that goes with it
The background, well diluted with the flakes of snow seen, for a good picture, all in shades of strong harmonious
> Perronnet Catherine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 07, 2012
what is the beak, indeed, and thank you for the beautiful discovery of this bird that I did not know.
> Chouna [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Dec 07, 2012
In effect, one better understands his name when we look at your picture... in addition, it tends to look a little bit hard your grosbec. Bravo
> Francis-Sisco [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Dec 07, 2012
with its look that we fathom, this beautiful bird is featured in the way used to take it in the box.
> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 06, 2012
It is only in the episode snow that it makes us the honour of his visit, this beautiful bird, the beak alone is well worth a photo. Your decision is extra, Web, face-to-face so surprising
> Julicarm [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 06, 2012
Impressive indeed, its plumage has some resemblance to that of the bullfinch, it would be more dull...
What I would like to see in here... !
He must put at least three sunflowers in his beak each time... and will you increase the budget diet-birds..
> Le fan belfortain [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 06, 2012
The gros-bec casse-nuclei does not seem convenient and seem to tell you to hurry of supply : hop, hop, hop... His colors are gorgeous, the look is a remarkable sharpness and the presentation is rewarding and fun : bravo Web and thank you.
> Chantal [G] [P] [C] >Reply Dec 06, 2012

> Labrume [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 06, 2012
I've never had the chance to see this bird.
I regret that.
Its beak is impressive It is better to avoid to put the finger, I imagine.

In fact, the name 'break-core' on him would come from the faculty that he would have to be able to crack a cherry pit with his beak.
Never seen it in real but in doubt, I will not give unto him my finger .

You're right not to give him your finger.
And me, I did not give my nuts (ha ! ha ! , ha !).
