The hair of ice, or coma, of ice, formed by very fine filaments, by freezing time, from pieces of dead wood or other plant. They are different from the frost by their appearance and by their training.

it occurs due to weather conditions, involving moderate frost, and a very wet soil, but not yet frozen.

The phenomenon is very rare, and can mainly be observed in the sites are shaded and early in the morning. Hair ice are very vulnerable, and melt at the slightest touch, or as soon as a ray of the sun reaches them.

Yes, it was the chance of a search in the woods to track deer. In the immediate vicinity, there was only a piece of wood with this phenomenon.
