Hawk 14485 Sparrowhawk

Author 'Cath' A voir (Id 138943 ) : In recent days, this superb raptor lands on my pergola to watch the sparrows who naively come to eat in the canteen that I put to them ... After some research, I hesitate between Sparrowhawk and Goshawk ... But I'm leaning more towards the Sparrowhawk that seems to gather more criteria, such as gray plumage, that around. My little songbird, now wary ... but he still managed to catch one because I found the remains consist of a few feathers, small pink legs and beak on the ground just under my window ... He must die of hunger to be satisfied with these little sparrows or tits then he eats more, normally, blackbirds, jays and magpies, much bigger.

A pretty picture, and certainly a nice surprise in the garden.

I like a lot but I would like more detailed images, such as the claws of a hawk in photo, pen, etc..

Shuk, the photos that you ask are difficult to insert into a site of wallpapers ... To do this, you must go rather a site specializing in raptors ... because it is not easy to take photos "artistic" the claws of a bird, for example ... the role of the wallpaper is especially to be beautiful and informative even though it might not be as well. Thank you anyway for your passage and your comment.

Hello Candy. Thank you very much for your permission for the fox ... Of course, I'd put the link to your picture when I would put the article. To answer your question, no, I'm not new but an ancient ... : 19: If you go on the list of photographers, Cath, you'll see a list of my pictures which date from early 2006, I think, just five years ago, but after a long absence from the site, I come back for some month ... Regards. Cath

I love raptors, how my son would say "Ho lucky" to have been able to do this picture. The colors are beautiful and the posture is "prince". Encore bravo.

Lumi, yes, I have regular spots on my goal, however, I clean, but they always return to the same place and I think it's on my 70/300. As for the dark top of the head, I did not even notice but it is possible that this is due to the net in which I made windows to catch birds in my office ... but they are small so they do not see me ... : 19: Thanks for your passage and your nice comment. And kisses.

Thank you all for your nice comments though ... To answer Ondine, one hand as I live in the middle of the field, we can not really say it is closer to home ... only mine: 19: Then, no, the Eagles of the city have disappeared in recent years, much to my regret because I wanted to return after a first passage time of the film ... : 10: Also, I had lots of visitors adults at that time but no camera to take them! They moved to another area. Thank you again to all.

Bravo for this great plug, Cath. It is a pity that you have darkened the top of the image including the head of the bird. A few small spots here and there sensor but I really congratulate you, it's very beautiful, I really enjoyed reading the intro: 5:

It is a magnificent bird that you did very well framed and it is very clean. : 3: Poor little sparrows, but it is the law of nature.

> Ondine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 31, 2011
: 4: Indeed, he must be hungry to get closer and homes or it is a lazy who find it easier to help themselves with an abundance of small birds unsuspecting! : 18: It is indeed a sparrowhawk in my opinion. Y does it always Submission raptors near Carcassonne, I do not hear about it ... An escapee? : 13:
