Author 'Francis-Sisco' (Id 209533 ) : How to distinguish a hover fly from a bee ? :
The hover fly has 2 wings, the wasp-4.
The hover fly is not pinched at the waist, not the 'size' of the wasp.
The syrphid flies can move in flight, it often seems to be less active on flowers.
Its antennae are very short.
In addition, the hover fly is harmless, it does not itch.

It may not be the size of wasp, but I like it all the better. Excellent macro.

Very nice macro, sharp with a bokeh with small grains that I like a lot. Thank you for this beautiful image-which is, accompanied by a commentary very informative. The identification will be easier in the future.
