Author 'Jcmai' (Id 106279 ) : Castle Hochkönigsburg (High Castle King) dominates the plain of Alsace. Its construction began in the XI, but thereafter, the ruin was offered to the Emperor of Germany for annexation. He was restored between 1901 and 1909.

Lilytana thank you for your comment, I'm glad this picture, which has not been successful remind you of your childhood! In this castle scenes of the film by Jean Renoir "The Grand Illusion" was shot (there is an article on Wikipedia with a picture that looks like mine).

Thank you Judy, is a beautiful castle but due to its location on a rocky cliff to the record layout in full requires a helicopter. But I had no spare money to charter a: 19:.
