Thank you for your explanation Jasmine, I too believed in a timeline.

Thank you for your response Jasmine, it answers my question, and especially do not see any bad thought on my part, but making the photo for a long time, and practicing editing, I suspected that this image had been subjected to a post treatment. Which enables sometimes, fortunately, save a few photos that we take, even if they are not at the top.

This image leaves me a little puzzled because these birds except the beak and the legs, all the rest is that mass of black, no detail of the plumage is only visible or even the eyes. And I can't tell if the ground on which they are found is of the rock or the snow. It seems to me that this image has undergone a strong treatment. I tried to lighten up the shadows, but impossible to take part, only the noise becomes visible. I think that this photo had to be heavily sousexposée or is it a photo montage ?

And no, it is not a photo editing. But on this day, the sky was very overcast, the limit of the snow storm, we did not see very far in front of us and he needed to do in the -5°, the photo is therefore probably very sousexposée.

Even if they are not net, it's still a great first take a sitting bird (in the foreground). Of the birds that one often does not see. Thank you for this beautiful family portrait.

This 'Chocard yellow-billed' (Pyrrhocorax graculus) were to be hungry for you to take as close. They are so black (except for the beak and legs: fortunately ) that I would have avoided the black frame ! Perhaps it also crop the image ? These are just suggestions from a layman ! Bravo and thank you.

Funny bird outside of the nose we cannot see the eyes, the third eye is too close to the part (wing-tip).
> Benett [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 05, 2008
It is true that they are close but unfortunately not very clear.
> Ninik [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 05, 2008
Have been able to take them so close.. And 3 of a sudden ! They had to be tasty your sandwiches. Your photo is not only beautiful, but interesting because I didn't know even the name of these birds.
