Horse a Horse farm machine

Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 215391 ) : I have not been able to prevent me from photographing through my walk this sleigh horse abandoned at the foot of the tree. I saw them when I was a kid again and at my parents on their farm, she was used to going to the fields, to transport goods, men and women in the planting of potatoes, for example. It should date to the late 19th century or early 20th century. It was common, in fact, until the 1960s, and more times to use these carts in the campaign to bring them to the edge of the roads, the cans of milk that the dairy (with his truck) picked up during its passage. Ph : Marc de Meilhan.

A lovely shot that brings us back not so far into our nostalgia in the country. Beautiful composition, let us not die of modernity !

There will always be the rhythm of hooves and the smell is a powerful tool to force animals that time has left in our memories... A world that was being transported with its joys and its sorrows, too, sometimes. The squeak sneaky of the hubs when the wheel, despite it sinks into the rut... there will always be under the 'modernity' the indelible imprint of the past with its history and his memory tenacious, no doubt to reassure us of the uncertainties of an improbable future, which could deceive the man. So long live the power animal and the cart which are still alive to take over !... Marc.

I have a blow of heart for this old buggy. I would see well in a museum after a full restoration because it is a testimony of a rural past that I have known. Bravo Marc, thank you and good week.

Hello the fan. You're right the witness of a past not so distant, but things are going so quickly, I was reminded of this in effect. I also thought that it could, once restored, beautify a roundabout, for example. Otherwise a pretty courtyard with its cargo floral... thank you, Thank you, it's going well otherwise ? Amts, Marc.
