Hyacinth macaw 20100508

Author 'Tom' (Id 115973 ) : After the portrait of the New Caledonian ara, here is a broader view of the Great Aviary Zoo Doue-la-Fontaine, beautifully decorated in a great career shelly. In the foreground, a hyacinth macaw, the beautiful blue plumage that is unfortunately a highly endangered species. In the background a couple of New Caledonian and macaws in the background of the water flamingos from Chile.

Scream Hello and thank you for your comment. The hyacinth macaw is captured for use as ornamental birds and, without being stuffed, it can reproduce once in a cage ... The other threat is that its population decline is the destruction of its natural environment.
