Dried flowers are always wonderful and this cluster of lotus in shades of autumn will make a nice wallpaper, like a lot.

I did some research to try to give you an answer: The fact is that the lotus has many medicinal properties as well as food. In China, in summer, we love nibbling his seeds, achenes, at any time of day, dried or roasted. But you can also eat the rhizome (stem) and tuber (root) of different ways ... In parts of southern China, adding the cut stem into thin pieces with green tea to withstand the scorching heat of summer. There are also lotus starch, used among other pastries. For long, dry Lotus is also a beauty product very popular with Asian women. We can say that it is a plant of unlimited resources, whose achene can wait for several centuries before finally germinate. And although this aquatic plant is normally made for hot countries, it also supports to live harsh winters of northern China.
