Imgp0180 Setting Sun And Reflections On Building L

Author 'Hiris' (Id 68994 ) : This beautiful building houses the civil Court of Lausanne. Its huge central door at the top of the stairs is impressive. It is driven by an electronic system.
Facing the lake, looking at the French Alps, this site is really wonderful.
With the sun bonus, which is already very low on the horizon, I have been able to make this photo (test) which seems to me, in the end, quite interesting.
I framed in closer to the left (a group of young people sat, and it was partially their shadow over this sort of 'chimney' to the right), and at the bottom to keep the entire reflection in the pool of water.
On the right side of the picture, we can see one of the towers of the cathedral and just in front of the building on a white base of a statue of William Tell.
Wishing that it collects your votes.

A photo of a beautiful building that is very familiar because I work just below and I go there every day. The picture is very successful.

Well, thank you. It is true that it is easier to judge the value and quality of a photo to appreciate when you know the place!

If we had as much recoil to do all the pictures of buildings that are worth the effort, that would be nice. Here in addition you have a 'pool' where the sight of this beautiful building. This is beautiful.

This building is really beautiful, the color of the magnificent building, a beautiful picture even in spite of the small defects mentioned.

A beautiful image of this building with the bonus of a nice reflection

My gaze was immediately attracted by the shade of the young people that you tried to avoid ! The most the Building is imposing with its reflection beautifully presented here, a small adjustment may be so, but I'm misplaced...

According to your suggestion (and those of Guylaine, Alain, 47), I attempted a retouch straightening the stairs at the edge of the water and the perspective (not so obvious as it may change). As to Romaric, who complains of the right side of the photo, it is obvious that this part was totally in the shade, it does not appear that it is the lawn that runs along the wall.
So I hope that you will take the trouble to take a look!!! I spent some time.
I thank you for that.

Thank you (and of course thank you all for your comments). Saw your constructive remark on a possible recovery, I can honestly say that I asked myself the question although the magnitude is not shocking (in my opinion). Not being an expert in this matter, I'll still try to tamper with it as soon as possible and we will be able to compare the result. This will also be a good exercise for me.
As for me claro, I love this photo because of the reflections of the building and of the characters that you see in the projection. By making a first shot, I deliberately framed tight in front. Result : 'There's no picture !!! '. I don't regret this choice.

It is a very nice photo with beautiful reflections, the right side in the water is not very 'top', but it is like this, I see the silhouette of a character... ?

Thank you for having filed your comment.
I will bring so extra accuracy since you are doing hint : this sort of 'chimney' is the base which generates a fountain of several jets (here inactive, having regard to the lateness of the hour).
Actually, there is a silhouette of the character (even 2) : I mentioned in my legend...
