Imperial eagle of Rambouillet

Author 'Nicoledesplat' (Id 198349 ) : The Imperial Eagle is a large raptor beak massive, head pro-eminent, long wings strongly digitate edges parallel ; its tail is fairly short, square, and right, often tight.
Its plumage and brown-black, with cap and nape yellowish to cream, her tail, she is barred grey at the base, and its sides are white.
In flight, his beats are heavy ; it soars in circles with the wings horizontal.
It is a raptor lonely, even in migration.
His cry that I have heard sounds like a bark severe and rapid.
He lives in the plains, steppes, hills and swamps.
Its nest is a huge, often on an isolated tree.

A very beautiful specimen, it has to be said, but for me, the plan is too tight, there is not enough space to admire it... (especially on the top)...

I agree with you Nicole, compared to the golden eagle which is more dark and less grand, the imperial eagle has a nice plumage soft and beak is monstrous but what a beautiful raptor, I have not stopped taking photos under all these facets, so much her beauty has me hooked, again thank you Nicole for giving me your opinion
