Ireland Wichllow Glendalough Church Of Saint Kevin

Author 'Chasseur de temps' (Id 209065 ) : Lovely little church in the slanting roof, the dry-stone surmounted by a bell turret in the shape of a round turret evoking, for some, a fireplace which gave the construction to be still called St. Kevin's Kitchen (cuisine of saint Kevin). The legend tells that saint Kevin was praying here whole days leaning against an oak tree, with arms outstretched, so still that the birds are posed as if on a perch. We understand why st. Kevin was regarded as the protector of the birds.

Thank you for these comments which allow us to understand that from a certain level of sensitivity and a simple legend ceases to be a tale for young children and support a place of a power of attraction that the weather feeds to default to be able to turn it off.

An image that pleases me a lot. This old chapel and the small cemetery, it is something intimate. Thank you for this photo of 'elsewhere'... where peace reigns.

'Where peace prevails'. I would like to be able to tell you that you're right !
If you've followed the story that I introduced to Belfast and the walls of the peace, it hasn't escaped your notice that the question 'peace ?' deserves to be asked.

I love these landscapes, where the green predominates. This is particularly peaceful in addition !

Actually the time is dark, but you can't do anything !
Thank you for this beautiful page of history and the charming scenery very well framed, the graves, to bring the 'presence' in this table.

The charm of Ireland is its climate, which thinks of that the lovers of sun, in the fog or stormy sky is beautiful photos like this one

Ireland, such as one imagines it. Green, grey, wild landscape. I like the angle of your shot. Bravo and thank you.

What is the greenery ! Your landscape is representative of Ireland : a Lot of green, a small church in stone and a small cemetery. Everything that I love!!!
