) : The Salar de Uyuni is totally in place "extra terrestrial". It is an old salt lake that evaporated when its water supply sources have dried up. Its surface is 1,000 gigantic square km (the equivalent of 2 departments french) on which the salt layer is 10/12 and all meters to 3800 meters altitude. The sun on the salt is terrible sunglasses mandatory. And on this "lake" a few "islands" of which one, ile de pescado on which there is a multitude of cactus candles from 2 to 6m high .
