Author 'Charly' (Id 227322 ) : The small village of Poul Fétan on the commune of Quistinic, has been completely restored as it was in the 1850s.
Many of the activities and crafts of the time are presented to the visitors by animators in costume and recite as if they were still at this time.
A place that deserves to stay for a few hours.
Here the house, 'ti' in breton, Louise and her vegetable garden to the rear.
The weather was also in brittany that day.

( For the Web, tourist Site : Poul Fétan, to add to the list).

The treatment not too far-fetched :18-gives this shot a little air old perfectly in agreement with the subject, that were found in the illustrations of the books

picturesque ! There is no other word to describe these houses in brittany. Has Telgruc s/m there is a similar house where I was staying some years ago. A little dark, however, since the harshness of the climate requires small windows. It is not Port-Grimaud !

Telgruc this is just to the side of Pentrez where I was.
For the windows (and doors) and their size comes from the fact that the openings of the houses were taxed according to their size.
Moreover, the door of the hostel had been ovalized at the time to have a small opening and allow the passage of the belly of the barrels.
The rulers have always found ways to pay taxes... and that doesn't change !

It had escaped me that the size of the openings of the façade was influenced by the tax. Fortunately there were compensations in the contents of the barrels. Moreover, it has not changed

The house of Louise is very pretty, she is well framed and benefits of a treatment allowing it to be on the cover of a book of fairy tales, bravo. (TB)
