Lacerta viridis Lacerta bilineata

Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 206128 ) : This is a green lizard that I had, until then, never seen nor met, here in France. I believe that it is the green Lizard Lacerta viridis who lives more in the countries of eastern Europe : Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Turkey, etc, It should not be confused with the green Lizard of Western Europe, the : (Lacerta bilineata), which is also found easily in France. This Lacerta viridis has been met in a grassy land with a reserve of natural water, lots of wood, abandoned, and covered with thorny bushes, exposed full south. The hole sunny in the middle of the wood, previously described, is located in the Nord-Isère. Ph : Marc de Meilhan.

Nice catch of this lizard to neon colours that will not go unnoticed, especially among the branches.

It is true, and I was not expecting to see this lizard ; it is the first time that I see it. It is beautiful and well laid out on a natural background. Thank you very much to you Ninik. Marc.

Well, thank you, Gipsy. I had never seen like him... This is the first time and I am almost certain that it is the Lacerta viridis. His throat blue and neon green can not be wrong. Many thanks again and good Weekend. Marc.
