Author 'Charly' (Id 206260 ) : A small walk around camera along the Lens, a small river near my home, and I discovered these curious flowers that seem to grow in colonies very close to the water and a little bit in the shade of the trees.
Back at home, I do some research I reveal his name : Lathrée illegal (Lathraea clandestina).
It is a flower parasite that feeds on the roots of trees, at the feet of which it lives. It has no leaves or chlorophyll. Its flowering lasts only for a month, just in time to ensure its reproduction, then it 'disappears' until the following year.
Its seeds will produce flowers as 8 to 10 years after planting.
